Manual (hands-on) Therapy: Consists of myofascial release techniques, stretching of restricted structures and specific strengthening of weak muscles, soft tissue and joint mobilization/ manipulation, muscle energy.
Pain Management: Use of moist heat, cryotherapy, ultrasound, Phonophoresis, Iontophoresis, and laser therapy.
Therapeutic Exercises: Customized to your needs, they include but are not limited to scapular & spinal stabilization as well as functional strengthening & stretching of the extremities in order to decrease your pain, improve your movement, and enhance your postural muscle awareness.
Gait & Postural Awareness Training: we use PNF or proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation techniques to improve the relationship between your nervous & musculoskeletal systems to enhance your overall posture & efficiency of your gait (i.e. the way you walk.)
Home Management Program: We provide you with a comprehensive home exercise program that is updated regularly & is inclusive of pain management techniques, stretches & strengthening exercises that will expedite your recovery.
