Montalto Physical Therapy opened in August of 2007. As a private practice, Montalto Physical Therapy greatly appreciates the relationship it has with the members of the local community. It is this very relationship that has helped us consistently grow over the years.
We provide our clients with structured, diagnosis specific, personalized manual treatment and exercise programs. It is these essential components that enable our clients to heal in an effective and efficient manner.
In addition, at Montalto Physical Therapy we educate our clients in an ongoing manner that empowers each individual through the use of a comprehensive home program. This program, which is updated regularly, emphasizes the use of progressive exercises for strengthening and flexibility as well as education on pain management.
The physical therapists at MPT take post graduate, continuing education coursework on a regular, annual basis to offer their clients the most clinically relevant, evidence based information that the physical therapy field has to offer.
The owner, Joseph Montalto, is licensed for more than 18 years and has a diverse skilled background in orthopedic manual therapy as well as neurologic physical therapy. Joseph Montalto graduated from Touro College with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 1998. He has a diverse clinical background which has included inpatient hospital and rehabilitation care as well as home care. For the last twenty three years he has specialized in outpatient orthopedic manual therapy. He is well versed in the treatment of individuals across the lifespan from children and adolescents to adults and seniors. In 2007, he opened Montalto Physical Therapy with the intention of providing the highest level of clinical care possible to the members of the local community
